- Springsteen "Youngstown" Montage: This is an interesting link. It is a song by Bruce Springsteen about Youngstown where factories closed after losing out against foreign competition. It addresses various relevant aspects like the difficult working conditions in early industries, industrial decline because of foreign competition, the impact this has on workers and entire cities, and the warmth people may experience when they think about their working class background.
